Why ASAM exists
ASAM provides a professional platform for animal scientists, livestock specialists, researchers, academics, students and sector stakeholders to collaborate, share knowledge and strengthen technical practice.
The Association promotes responsible livestock development, scientific exchange, professional recognition and constructive engagement with institutions involved in Malawi’s livestock sector.
How ASAM is guided
ASAM is guided by its Constitution, General Meeting, Board and Executive Committee. These governance structures promote accountability, member participation and effective implementation of Association programmes.
Through its leadership and Secretariat, the Association coordinates membership services, professional activities, partnerships, communication and sector representation.
