The Animal Scientists Association of Malawi has opened its online membership services to individuals and organisations contributing to the country’s livestock sector. The registration platform is designed to bring professionals, students, farmers, researchers and development organisations into one recognised network for technical exchange, professional growth and responsible livestock development.
Who can apply?
Membership is available under the published categories for smallholder farmers, postgraduate students, researchers and academics, and non-governmental organisations. Applicants should select the category that best represents their livestock activity, academic role or institutional work.
What applicants should prepare
- Accurate personal or organisational details.
- A National ID or Passport identification number.
- A clear passport-size photograph.
- Proof of payment showing a unique transaction reference.
- A brief description of livestock, research, academic or development work.
What happens after submission?
Every application remains pending while the Secretariat verifies the submitted details and payment evidence. Once approved, the member receives a membership number, access to the member portal, an official PDF receipt and a QR-verifiable membership certificate.
Membership is more than registration. It creates a structured professional platform for learning, collaboration, visibility and collective action in Malawi’s livestock sector.
Member services
Approved members can access association notices, direct messages, professional discussions, marketplace seller services, renewal information and a controlled one-time link to the official WhatsApp group.
